When Dan and Dani met us at the showroom over two years ago, we all immediately "clicked". And when I say "us" I mean my husband and business partner Thomas Heath of @thomasheathevents and @aplusentertains. Thomas and I also absolutely love craft beers, and D and D made it quite clear that they did as well.
It was immediately apparent that this couple's wedding would be starring beer (yes, really!) When they selected me to provide decor rentals and design, it was to have beer growlers paired with Charisma stemmed vases on the head and parents' tables, and set alongside one of our handmade natural wooden crates on the guest tables. These crates were also made exclusively for me right here in the mitten state.
How does a wedding have beer as the central theme? Well, if you're these two, it meant sourcing unique beer growlers from various breweries all over Michigan. From Traverse City to the eastside, from the westside and everywhere in between, Dan and Dani found some pretty amazing beer vessels.
And a first for me, the couple also chose to star hops in their greenery! I loved this unique choice! Weaving the hops in was @bloomfloraldesign
I'll also add that Michigan sure doesn't get the "love" it deserves from beer connoisseurs. The beers made here are EXCELLENT. But Dan and Dani sure did get the "love" from Thomas. He served as their officiant and also created and read their Love Story right after their first dance. Beautiful, just like the two of them.
Beautiful venue, beautiful people and a beautiful love story all of which was wholly unique. We are so blessed that they chose us for one of the most important days of their lives.
