One of the best things we here at #HeartWeddingDecor offer our couples (and even would-be couples) is our showroom in Petoskey. We absolutely love when our couples come in and "play". Take Jess and Zach. They absolutely took me up on that offer, and proceeded to grab anything off the shelves and create mock-ups. We even moved furniture around to give them an idea of how things could look.
We also completed their sweetheart table (under Super Arbor too!) so they would be sure it would look exactly as planned. And if there is any venue where this would fit with plenty of room to spare, it's Shanahan's!
I was absolutely delighted that they chose to have their sweetheart table under our four-post arbor, complete with white draping to match the draping in the barn. It created such a private space for them, yet was still open and inviting for guests.
Guests were welcomed into the barn by our giant vintage window (which was once part of a church) as the seating chart. Lots of photos were snapped of this unique piece created by our own associate designer Carley!
We also had two separate lounge areas set up for guests to take a break from all of that dancing, as provided by our own @thomasheathevents, who acted as Master of Ceremonies and DJ that day. These lounges reflected a vintage feel in their colors: blush, navy and ivory.
But even better than providing several services for J and Z's wedding? The friendship that came of it. Now if we can just coordinate our schedules enough so we can have that date night at @BeardsBrewery with the two of you!
