2021 was the busiest year in company history, however, 2022 is looking even busier. In fact, I am fully booked for this year! Crazy, right?!
The most popular style requests for this year look to be light and airy, natural/sustainable, timeless and the dark/moody vibes. These are the top table numbers I've created that could fit these (or other) styles.
10) Our glass bottle collections are perfect for boho, sustainable/green and eclectic or whimsical themed weddings. We carry different shapes and sizes and several colors (blue, green and clear). We could add real or faux floral and greenery, depending on your style and then choose the color and font, and you'll have an adorable table number.
9) Travertine tile. This idea is a brand new one for us! It is perfect for boho, sustainable/green and eclectic or whimsical themed weddings as well. Look for this in a wedding we are doing in the fall.
8) Agate slices. These look great for boho or natural style weddings where the emphasis is on natural elements being used throughout the space. We'll even add the names for you with our custom sign design service if you would like them as place cards instead.
7) A metallic/metal house number on wood. For this, we have several stains of wood to choose from, along with different styles of numbers. Customize them to fit your style/theme! These are perfect for art deco and modern style weddings, depending on the wood stain and number font chosen.
6) Cork holders for place cards and/or table numbers. This is a super popular style that has been around for a while for weddings held at wineries (of which northern Michigan has many excellent ones)! Now, however, we are seeing them also used in a natural or whimsical way.
5) Painted back acrylic table numbers. For next season, the top color requested for painted back acrylics has to be sage green followed by dusty blue. For this 2021 wedding, I painted the back a shade of eggplant that matched the napkins. We will be seeing a LOT more of acrylic with painted backs.
4) Marble hexagons with copper. Marble is very popular and the addition of copper foil makes the table number or place card POP in an unexpected combination!
3) The cover of antique and vintage books. As a bibliophile, I am so excited that antique and vintage books are once again being requested for centerpieces and to decorate the space. For table number, we apply vinyl to the cover in your choice of font. Fun!
2) Brushstroke watercolor on cardstock, occasionally with a deckle edge. Watercolor place cards were a brand new offering for us last year and it continues to be requested for light and airy and beachside/yacht club weddings. Here, I hand-mixed paint to get a sage green color and then embossing was applied by one of my assistants. Beautiful!
1) Elegant gold, rose gold or silver double sided "floating" frames are perfect for an elegant, modern or timeless style wedding. We had several weddings that chose this style last year and we will be seeing more of them this year.
This list is not to say these are the ONLY styles we are doing for 2022. We've also got brand new handmade table numbers to be featured yet, and some regular classics that are being rented as well. Stay tuned to the blog for more details on those!
